EPS EMAPA

After waiting for so long to get a confirmation on the placement, the email finally came! I will be working in Huacho, Peru with an organization called EPS EMAPA. The organization focuses on providing potable water and an adequate sewage system to the people of Huacho. EPS EMAPA provides workshops, teaches save methods to drink water, and contributes to local sustainable development. Their vision is to “serve as a modle of responsability and water management, both locally and nationally”.

I am very excited to spend my fourth year working with EPS EMAPA! It will be a year full of new experiences. The picture above is of the city of Huacho. To learn more about Huacho check out their website
